Ah!

Ah! or Aha!   How many times have we uttered those words?  The answer is – how many times have we been amazed!  The word, ah, is found many times in Scripture.  It is an amazing response.  In fact, it is a response to amazement.

I love the song, His Grace Reaches Me.

Deeper than the ocean and wider than the sea is the grace of the Savior for sinners like me…

Sent from the Father, and it thrills my soul, Just to feel and to know, that His blood makes me whole…

The bass sings in the background, Ah…  I enjoy singing bass because the Ah is sung, not as a sound, but a response to the grace of God.  It is an amazing thought, just to know that his grace reaches me!  Yes, His grace reaches me… yes, His grace reaches me…

Kyle Idleman has written a new book and he entitled simply, Aha.  I like the description of the book : Have you ever had an “aha” experience – a flash of insight when you finally “get it” and your life changes forever?

That’s the joy and the feeling I get when we sing that song.  The amazing insight that His grace reaches even me!  As the book’s description says, a life changing insight.

Ah!  Such a short word, but one packed full of emotion and feeling.  We should sing it with such passion!
