Last week, the words of Moses confirmed God as creator. The Bible continues to acknowledge God as creator of all. Notice now, the testimony of four great kings.
David, king of Israel –
1Ch 16:26 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the LORD made the heavens.
Solomon, king of Israel –
Proverbs 3:19 The LORD by wisdom founded the earth, By understanding He established the heavens.
Proverbs 8:22-30 “The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old. “From everlasting I was established, From the beginning, from the earliest times of the earth. “When there were no depths I was brought forth, When there were no springs abounding with water. “Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills I was brought forth; While He had not yet made the earth and the fields, Nor the first dust of the world. “When He established the heavens, I was there, When He inscribed a circle on the face of the deep, When He made firm the skies above, When the springs of the deep became fixed, When He set for the sea its boundary,
So that the water would not transgress His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth; Then I was beside Him, as a master workman; And I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him,
Ecc 12:1 Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near when you will say, “I have no delight in them”;
Hyram, king of Tyre –
2 Ch 2:12 Then Huram continued, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who has made heaven and earth, who has given King David a wise son, endowed with discretion and understanding, who will build a house for the Lord and a royal palace for himself.
Hezekiah, king of Judah –
2 Ki 19:15 Hezekiah prayed before the Lord and said, “O Lord, the God of Israel, who are enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.
The wisest kings of Israel and Tyre attest to the creation of all things by God.
